Important Update: Move to Tuesday Night Training

As we gear up for the 2026 season, we have a key update regarding our weekly training schedule. To ensure our squads are fully prepared and to accommodate our midweek fixtures, club training is moving from Wednesday nights to Tuesday nights, effective from April 14th.

This change allows us to free up Wednesday evenings for our competitive matches without sacrificing vital practice time.

Timing & Arrival

  • When: Every Tuesday evening
  • Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Promptness: Please aim to arrive at the ground early so you are ready, warm ups and drills start promptly at 6:00 PM.
  • Teamo: Please ensure your training availability is kept up to date in Teamo. This is essential for helping our coaches plan effective sessions based on expected numbers.

Training Streams

This year, we are structuring our sessions to ensure every member gets the most out of their time at the nets:

1. Performance Stream (Led by Ash Collinson)

Ash will be leading intensive sessions specifically designed for players playing at 1st XI, Sunday T20, and Campbell Cup (Midweek Knockout) standard.

Due to the intensity of the performance stream sessions, a minimum ability is required. The assessment of which is at the discretion of the lead coaches and club captain (Eric Linge) and where there is doubt, to ensure smooth operation of the sessions, players would be placed into the open practice session. This would be reassessed on an ongoing basis and players can be moved between groups as required.

If you are unsure which session you should be joining, please speak to either of the coaches or the club captain who will be happy to advise.

2. Open Practice (Led by John Hopwood)

Our 2nd XI Captain, John Hopwood, will lead the open practice session. This is the primary hub for all other club members to sharpen their game and receive coaching feedback in a supportive environment.

Session Structure (Subject to Change)

Our weekly schedule will adapt based on weather and grass net availability. Initially, the structure will be:
